Castro Marim goes medieval: five days of festivities near the Huelva border

Just across the border from Huelva, the Portuguese town of Castro Marim once again transforms this summer to host one of the best-known events on its cultural calendar: the Dias Medievais.

The 2026 edition takes place from Wednesday 26 to Sunday 30 August, turning the historic centre, the castle and the area around Forte de São Sebastião into a large open-air setting inspired by the Middle Ages.
